About our School: Our National Awards

	We hold three school achievement awards for success in SATs which are our end of key stage tests. Measured against similar schools we have performed very well indeed. This together with an excellent Ofsted inspection earned us a place in HMIs annual report as one of the most successful schools in the country.
	We hold the healthy school award. This is a nationally recognised award proving we work hard to keep our pupils healthy in body and mind. Our wide range of extra curricular clubs, initiatives such as 'freddy fit' and 'activate' together with our excellent health care and PHSCE make us a healthy and caring school.

Following an extensive external assessment we have been awarded the prestigious ICT Mark by Becta, the British Education Communications and Technology Agency, the government funded body responsible for promoting the use of ICT in Britain's schools and colleges.  The award recognises the school's success in developing the strategic use of ICT in both administration and across the curriculum.
